As seen in the series of images below, the limited edition Uncharted 4 statue from Sony Interactive Entertainment, Naughty Dog, and Sideshow depicts Nathan Drake performing one of his signature leaping take downs of one of the action-adventure game’s Shoreline soldier enemies. While the piece is decidedly well done, as it is quite colorful and highly detailed, some fans of the franchise might balk at the price, as it’s listed at $350.
According to the product’s description on Sideshow’s website, the Uncharted 4 statue’s height and dimensions are 20" H (508mm) x 11.5" W (292.1mm) x 11.2" L (284.48mm), but it’s important to note that the toy manufacture has said that these are approximate values, as the images shown are just prototypes that could be altered slightly upon delivery. Speaking of which, the Nathan Drake statues are expected to ship anywhere between July 2017 to September 2017, and fans are urged to act quickly to pre-order it, as there are only 1500 being made.
Should Sony, Naughty Dog, and Sideshow’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not be up some gamers’ alleys, the company has a plethora of gaming-related products hosted on its site, such as Prime 1 Studio’s incredibly expensive Witcher 3 statue of Geralt of Rivia. Fans of action-adventure titles aren’t the only ones who have collectibles geared toward them, as Sideshow also has fighting game aficionados covered with statues like that of the Pop Culture Shock produced Mortal Kombat X version of Sub-Zero.
All things considered, although the Uncharted 4 statue for Nathan Drake would look great on any Naughty Dog fan’s shelf, it would be quite remarkable if Sideshow manages to sell all of them, even if they’re from a limited edition run. After all, most gamers are simply doing their best to save up enough money to purchase all of the titles they want from 2017’s full video game release schedule.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is out now for PlayStation 4.
